Preventure named Healthiest Employer 4th year running

Preventure wins title of Healthiest Employer by Providence Business News, 4th year


PBN Healthiest Employers Logo 2016Preventure, provider of corporate wellness and fitness programs, revolutionizing the way corporate America values employee wellbeing, has been recognized for providing their own staff with wellness, fitness and more! Preventure is one of only 28 companies acknowledged for their efforts in the employee health and wellness space, and joined by only 1 other organization in their winning category.

“Finalists were chosen based on responses to 65 questions that encompass communication and marketing, culture and leadership commitment, foundation components, programming and interventions, reporting and analysis, and strategic planning by organizations to promote wellness,” according to PBN.com. “The evaluation and scoring of the applications was done by Healthiest Employer LLC, which works with more than 6,000 employers across the nation to promote workplace wellness and provide the information for organizations to improve their staffs’ health.”

The criteria analyzed Preventure’s internal wellness program, Fit for Life, which includes everything from lunch-time workouts, health coaching, workshops, and quarterly challenges. The extensive questionnaire also collected information on support from senior management, policies, workplace culture and environment, biometric insights, reporting and ROI.

One element that had particular impacts on Preventure employees was their “BYOA” Program – Be Your Own Ambassador – where each employee has a set dollar amount to spend on any activity that they feel can help them improve their own personal health and well-being, versus (for example) a strictly fitness reimbursement, to offer a broader reach for all employees.

Preventure is proud to be recognized as a Healthiest Employer for the fourth time, and with their fellow honorees, will be recognized at an August 11 luncheon event at the Providence Marriott Downtown.
